Christina's Story

I grew up on a farm outside of Maryville. I loved the farm and all the animals!

I went off to KSTATE to go to college majoring in Elementary Education. Afterwards, I taught snow skiing out in Colorado. I mean who wouldn't want to get paid to snow ski?!

In 2009, I moved back home and helped my dad on the farm.

I met Nate in 2011 and we were married in 2012. I mena, when you know, you know!

He had a motorcycle and I LOVE motorcycles!

We farmed 4 form years. Then I got a job at the local newspaper. Now it's a small town so there were only 2 reporters. Myself, and Nates mom. It really confused people because both of our names were Rice.

AS a reporter we did our own interviews, took the photos and wrote the articles.

One day my friend Amy saw some rodeo photos I had taken, she asked me to take her family photos which I did.

She then asked me why I was still working for minimum wage at the newspaper. I told her it was because I like taking photos and telling people's stories.

She said "Christina, why don't you start your own photography business".

So I did!

Nate's Story

I was born and raised in Maryville, Missouri. My parents owned a video store so i grew up watching movies.

After High School i flew to Washington D.C. to be an intern for our local congressman. After doing that for three months I flew to McMurdo Station, Antarctica and stayed there for 6 months until my contract was fulfilled and I returned home to go to college.

I graduated with a degree in History and a minor in deaf culture. I meet my beautiful bride my senior year of college and asked her to marry me.

Since  graduation I have worked as a farm hand, in road construction, and now I work at Kawasaki, a plant that makes Lawn mower engines.

In my free time I love riding my motorcycle with Christina behind me. We enjoy the wind and the freedom of the ride.

I am also a huge nerd with movies, comics, and a few games.

Dustin's Story

My name is Dustin Henggeler.

I have lived in Maryville, MO my whole life, growing up a Spoofound at Maryville High School followed by a Bearcat at Northwest Missouri State University where I earned a degree in English.

After working in Journalism for over a decade, I worked as a graphic designer at a card company before becoming a marketing specialist for a national geospatial company.

I spend my free time with my wife and two daughters.

I love cars, shooting guns and cooking up all kinds of BBQ. I

volunteer my time organizing the Nodaway County Fair as well as the Mozingo Lake BBQ contest which brings in some of the best BBQ teams in the country.

Listening to music is my therapy.

My favorite thing to photograph is MMA fights because of the action and drama, but I love pushing my limits as a photographer in any capacity to always grow my talents using different lighting, effects and techniques.

I have a bucket list as a photographer that includes photographing X-games, extreme sports, UFC, wildlife and of course travel destinations.
